Homemade Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey

Have you heard of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey? Did you know it is very easy to make yourself at home, with no special equipment and a few basic ingredients? Let me show how easy it is.


1/2 Cup Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flake

1 Bottle Bourbon

5 Cinnamon Sticks

Mix all ingredients in a Mason Jar or container of your choice. Shake well.

To complete the process with no special equipment simply store at room temperature for 5 days. Make sure to shake the mason jar once or twice a day. After 5 days simply filter and enjoy.

To speed up the process you can place in a sous vide bath set at a temperature of 140 degrees for 2-3 hours. Afterwards shock chill in a mixture of water and ice, and place in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Once chilled remove and let sit to come to room temperature. Strain and pour back into original whiskey bottle and enjoy!
